來到LSI第一個朋友不是Kim（韓國學生）、不是Rieako（日本優雅女職員），而是德國教授Andrea：大學教授、研究員也協助警方做研究，他的工作就是每天跟屍體為伍然後找出現線索。聽起來是份令人毛骨悚然的工作，我問他這工作很特殊也聽起來很艱難，他卻只有笑笑說：這跟一般工作都一樣！不過從他沒結婚，忙於工作看來，這應該還是不是一般性的工作。
我們曾經有個機會除了上課之外一起同遊Greenwich格林威治天文台，當天的午餐還是他請我的，只因為我帶了個台灣小禮物給他！（小禮物攻勢太有用啦！）我們從Embarkment搭遊艇到Greenwich，旅程約30分鐘，遊艇頗為高檔，船費單程只花3.5pounds（台幣約200元），一途上欣賞泰浯士河的風光、十分愜意！在兩個星期語言學習之後，他已以於上週五回德國繼續工作，（由於他堅持不拍照，這是我唯一張他的照片-橘色外套、黑色長褲的背影！）可以知道全世界各地的朋友在地球上一起努力生活著，我想是再令人興奮不過的事情了！以下是我最近跟寫給他的e-mail！
Dear Andreas
How was everything when you went back to your working position? I think you are really a hardworking person because you still kept studying in LSI during your two-week vacation. Based on this point, I could really learn a lesson from you!
It was really nice to have a trip to Greenwich with you on that day and we had a long and great conversation about our background. The experience really inspired me a lot, especially because everything on that day was so perfect to have a trip. As I’ve mentioned before, I plan to be a backpacker and to travel in Europe next year or the year after next year, therefore, maybe I will have a chance to visit you in the future. Of course, if you have a chance to come to Taiwan, I will be very happy to welcome you and maybe I could show you some local culture of Taiwan that you’ve never experienced!
The weather in London has recently become warmer than before and I will still not only continue to visit famous spots but also keep learning English as usual. I hope everything that you are dealing with will have a wonderful ending. Finally I hope you don’t work too late and remember to keep your body healthy!
